The eating out market in Korea has made a continuing progress in various forms of eating out cultures due to an increase in consumption and demand for them. As competition among the diverse restaurants becomes fierce, they pay more attention to securing loyal customers, recognizing the fact that customer loyalty is an essential factor of their survival. This study finds out attributes of customers in choosing the restaurant among the family restaurants, analyzes the importance and satisfaction of customers on choice attributes, and conducts an empirical study of the impact of choice attributes on customer satisfaction and brand loyalty. Thus, it intends to suggest marketing activities seeking long term profit and growth of the family restaurants. Sampling choice attributes for an empirical study, I used 285 questionnaires received from customers of Outback Stake House and Bennigans among the family restaurants in analyzing them.
